Turkey’s EURO 2024 Fixtures, Squad Details, and Preparation Schedule
The Turkish National Team has announced its preliminary squad for the EURO 2024 European Championship, to be hosted in Germany from June 14th to July 14th. Head Coach Vincenzo Montella has named a list of 35 players as preparations begin for the tournament where fans are eagerly anticipating the Euro 2024 Türkiye Fikstür.
The squad includes a mix of seasoned veterans and promising young talents, aiming to make a significant impact in the Euro 2024 competition. Training camps are scheduled in stages, with the first group of players already commencing sessions at the TFF Hasan Doğan National Teams Facilities in Riva. Players who have completed their club matches are in this initial group. A second group, featuring players with weekend club commitments, will join the camp on Wednesday, May 29th. Arda Güler and Salih Özcan will join the squad in Italy after the UEFA Champions League final between Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid.

To prepare for EURO 2024, the Turkish National Team will play friendly matches against two strong European sides: the reigning European Champions Italy and Poland, another EURO 2024 finalist.
The full squad will convene in Istanbul by May 29th and continue training in Riva until June 3rd. On June 3rd, the team will fly to Bologna with Turkish Airlines for their friendly against Italy.
The Italy vs. Turkey match is scheduled for June 4th at the Renato Dall’Ara Stadium in Bologna, home of Serie A club Bologna FC 1909, kicking off at 10:00 PM Turkish Time (TSİ).
Following the Italy game, the team will move to Opalenica, Poland, for a training camp leading up to the Poland friendly. They will travel from Bologna to Poznan the evening after the Italy match and then to Warsaw, the capital, by June 9th for the Poland game.

The Poland vs. Turkey match will be played on June 10th at PGE Narodowy in Warsaw, Poland’s largest football stadium, starting at 9:45 PM Turkish Time (TSİ).
In a move to strengthen collaboration between the senior and U-21 national teams, the coaching staffs have planned joint camp activities in June.
From June 5th to 11th, the senior national team will camp alongside the U-21 team. The two teams will also play two training matches against each other, one in Italy and one in Poland.
On June 11th, the Turkish National Team will depart from Poland to Germany, establishing their base camp in Barsinghausen. They will continue their EURO 2024 preparations at this facility.
Turkey is placed in Group F for EURO 2024. Their Euro 2024 Türkiye fikstür begins with their first two group matches in Dortmund: against Georgia on June 18th and against Portugal on June 22nd. Their final group game will be against Czechia on June 26th in Hamburg.
