Currency CZK to EUR: European Commission’s Official Exchange Rates
The European Commission publishes official monthly accounting rates for the euro and other currencies, including the Czech Koruna (CZK). These rates, established by the Accounting Officer, are used to calculate reimbursements for expenses, travel, and subsistence costs for external participants in Commission-related activities. This information allows for accurate financial transactions within the EU budget framework.
The official currency converter tool offers monthly conversion rates dating back to 1994, providing a historical overview of the CZK to EUR exchange rate. These rates reflect the market value from the second to last day of the preceding month. Data is sourced from the European Central Bank (ECB), or when unavailable, from EU delegations or reliable sources close to the reference date.
InforEuro, the Commission’s resource, provides current and historical currency rates for countries both within and outside the European Union. For each currency, including the CZK, historical conversion rates against the euro (or the ecu before December 1998) are available. These rates can be downloaded in electronic format from March 1994 onward.
While the CZK to EUR conversion information is publicly accessible, its primary purpose is for implementing the EU budget. The European Commission provides this data for informational purposes only and does not guarantee its accuracy. The published rates do not confer any rights to users, and general inquiries regarding these rates will not be addressed.
