Today’s Euro Cup Games: Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Final Match Schedule

The UEFA European Championship, also known as Euro 2024 or Euro Cup, is nearing its exciting conclusion. With the opening round and Round of 16 completed, only seven matches remain: four quarterfinal games, two semifinals, and the highly anticipated championship match. This article provides a comprehensive guide to the remaining Euro Cup schedule, including dates, times, and venues for today’s Euro Cup games and beyond.

Germany, the host country for Euro 2024, boasts ten cities and venues showcasing the tournament’s matches. The final game will take place at Berlin’s Olympiastadion, a historic venue that hosted the 1936 Summer Olympics and was renovated in 2006. With a seating capacity exceeding 76,000, it stands as Germany’s largest soccer stadium. Germany previously hosted the Euro Cup in 2006 and, as West Germany, in 1988.

The Euro Cup Quarterfinals are set to kick off on July 5th, featuring thrilling matchups between some of Europe’s top footballing nations. Spain and Germany will clash at the MHPArena in Stuttgart, followed by Portugal facing off against France at the Volksparkstadion in Hamburg. On July 6th, England will compete against Switzerland at the Merkur Spiel-Arena in Dusseldorf, while the Netherlands and Türkiye will battle it out at the iconic Olympiastadion in Berlin. All quarterfinal matches are scheduled to commence at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time, respectively.

Following the quarterfinal excitement, the Euro Cup Semifinals will take place on July 9th and 10th. The winners of the July 5th matches will meet at the Allianz Arena in Munich on July 9th, while the victors of the July 6th games will clash at Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund on July 10th. Both semifinal matches are scheduled for a 9 p.m. local time kickoff.

The culmination of the tournament, the Euro Cup Final, is set for July 14th at 9 p.m. local time in Berlin’s Olympiastadion. The two remaining teams will compete for the coveted European Championship title, promising a thrilling conclusion to a month of intense football action. As of July 3rd, England is slightly favored to win, followed closely by Spain, France, and Germany. Türkiye remains a longshot.

Euro Cup matches are broadcast in the United States on Fox Sports (Fox, FS1, and FS2) for English language coverage and on Univision for Spanish language commentary. Streaming options include Fubo (offering a free trial) and the Fox Sports app/website for English viewers, while Spanish speakers can tune in via the TUDN app/website and ViX. This widespread availability ensures fans across the US can easily follow today’s Euro Cup games.

Fox Sports recently secured a six-year agreement with UEFA, the governing body of the Euro Cup, granting them broadcasting rights to over 1,500 soccer matches, including the 2024 and 2028 Euro Cups. This substantial deal, estimated at $270 million, highlights the growing popularity of soccer in the United States. The 2028 Euro Cup will be co-hosted by the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.

The 2024 Euro Cup has witnessed record-breaking viewership, demonstrating the increasing appeal of live sports on television. Nielsen reports that the average audience for Group Stage matches on Fox surpassed one million viewers, exceeding the previous record set in 2012 and marking a significant increase compared to the 2021 tournament. This trend continued into the Round of 16, with several matches experiencing double-digit viewership growth compared to 2021. Overall, viewership for the 2024 Euro Cup is tracking significantly higher than previous tournaments. Fox anticipates strong ratings for the final match, as the 2021 final drew over nine million viewers across multiple networks.
