Euro Cup Matches Today: Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Final Schedule
Germany plays host to the 17th UEFA European Championship, commonly known as the Euro Cup or Euro 2024. The tournament, featuring 24 national teams, culminates in a championship match on July 14th. Ten German cities are hosting matches, with the final held in Berlin’s Olympiastadion, the country’s largest soccer stadium with a seating capacity exceeding 76,000. This marks Germany’s third time hosting the event, following the 2006 Euro Cup and the 1988 tournament as West Germany.
Germany and Spain lead the all-time Euro Cup wins with three titles each, followed by Italy and France with two. Spain holds the unique distinction of winning consecutive championships in 2008 and 2012. While Italy claimed victory in the delayed 2020 tournament, their journey in Euro 2024 ended in the Round of 16 against Switzerland.
Following the opening round and the Round of 16, the Euro 2024 tournament enters its final stages. Seven crucial Euro Cup matches remain: four quarterfinal clashes, two semifinal matches, and the highly anticipated championship game.

As of July 3rd, England holds a slight edge in the bookmakers’ odds to win the Euro Cup, followed closely by Spain. France and Germany are considered strong contenders, while Türkiye faces longer odds. Global interest in the Euro Cup remains high, with matches broadcast in the United States on Fox Sports (English) and Univision (Spanish). Streaming options include Fubo and the Fox Sports app/website (English) and TUDN and ViX (Spanish).
Fox Sports recently secured a six-year agreement with UEFA, valued at approximately $270 million, to broadcast over 1,500 matches, including the 2024 and 2028 Euro Cups. The 2028 tournament will be co-hosted by the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. In addition to the Euro Cup, Fox Sports is broadcasting the 2024 Copa América, creating a month-long “summer of soccer” with 78 international matches. Fox has also announced plans to televise the 2025 Women’s Euro Cup, hosted by Switzerland.
Euro 2024 is experiencing record-breaking viewership, highlighting the enduring popularity of live sports on television. Average viewership for the group stage matches on Fox surpassed previous records, reaching 1.045 million viewers, a 30% increase compared to 2021. This trend continued into the Round of 16, with several matches achieving substantial viewership gains. Overall, Euro 2024 viewership is tracking significantly higher than previous tournaments. The 2021 final drew 9.4 million viewers across multiple networks, setting a high bar for this year’s championship match, scheduled for a 3 p.m. ET start time.
The summer of soccer extends beyond the Euro Cup and Copa América, with the men’s soccer tournament at the 2024 Summer Olympics in France commencing on July 24th. Sixteen teams will compete for the gold medal, with matches available on Peacock and NBCU networks.
